Prefabricated Drywall Assemblies

Posted April 17, 2019

At The Raymond Group, we use drywall cutting technology to prefabricate gypsum board assemblies, reduce manpower and material costs, increase the quality of installed drywall, and reduce the time consuming operations of corner bead and taping. The video below outlines our drywall prefabrication process, from 3D modeling and BIM coordination to installation.

The Raymond Group is an owner of a drywall milling machine in each of our office locations. This revolutionary manufacturing system makes creating intricate shapes and assemblies from drywall much more affordable and cost effective. We use our strategically located machines to help provide a safer, timelier, cost effective, less wasteful product for each of our projects where repetition, or high design, is required.

In our next video (coming soon!), Raymond will bring you onto the jobsite, walking you through the actual installation of our prefabricated framing and gypsum board assemblies systems.
